I’m mad this is my first visit to Sam’s because damn. Parking lot only had 1 vehicle but recent reviews told me to walk in and try. So my buddy and I went in. ROXANNE thank you so much. You are definitely the face being first interaction. Chef Columbus you are the one man.

We stopped here in the way back from Dallas to San Antonio! It was a little out of our way from I-35, BUT it was well worth it! We had a delicious lunch and very great time. The Hostess was very friendly and very helpful informing us about their specials and favorites! A big thumbs up to her for being Awesome and props to the kitchen for the great food! Thank you! We WILL stop there again when we come thru!

Amazing food, by our favorite chef COLOMBUS! Come enjoy the food, I know I do! I always order the #35 which has the crispy well seasoned fried fish, fried/grilled shrimp and fried oysters! Como get you some!

Ok so this place suffers from the old restaurant being here in my opinion. A past failure of a restaurant and these guys come and take over. To me it seems like what was here left a bad reputation. If i was the owner i would completely paint the outside something bright. Make people look. I passed this place 3 times and didn’t see it. It was recommended so i came. Everyone i can tell you that you are missing out. Its Amazing food and lots of it. Staff is super friendly. My biggest test is if the fish is clean. What i mean by that is if they left that gray part on the fish i would never come back. That tells me you don’t care. I can tell all of you they care. Not one little bit of that nasty gray swin bladder. Fish was clean white and o fishy taste. 👅. Shrimp was great too. Red beans 🫘 and rice was good too. So long review short lol 😂 i highly recommend this place. Great food great staff great service. What else do you need ?? Just stop by like it did. Great prices too

Stopped here to grab lunch to go. The restaurant seems to have been around for a while, definitely has that mom n pop feel so a bit dated. However the food was great, I am a picky fish eater and it had a good consistency and flavor, the french fries were great. The red beans were okay had a hint of oily taste to it, but overall good. Also ordered the apple pie, I thought of it as an apple pie slice but its like the one from the fast food chain. It was good, deep fried, crispy and sweet. The cost was very affordable for a good amount of food. Cashier was friendly and the wait for my order was acceptable. I would recommend giving this place a try!
